The House of Haunts (Scottsdale):

The House of Haunts "is an elaborate and intense Halloween attraction" - and it is entirely DIY! Phoenix New Times reports, "There’s a room based on "The Shining," an elaborate recreation of the Lost Dutchman Mine, a laser-filled swamp and rooms that screw with people's perceptions." Sounds fun!

Mount Mayhem (Phoenix):

Mount Mayhem is a freaky attraction that offers a different theme each year. This year, the theme is Psykosis. "The psyche is clever and what is real or imagined can be impossible to decipher. From hallucinations of whispering voices and visual delusions to the paranoia of being hunted, stalked, experimented on... the mental torment makes itself known in this season's Mount Mayhem Haunt, so prepare yourself and don't let your brain play tricks on you..."

Mill of Madness (Phoenix):

Mill of Madness is a brand new immersive haunted attraction designed by filmmakers. "As you venture into the Mill of Madness, uncover the eerie secrets of bizarre human experiments gone awry. As the authorities try to intervene it turns into all out chaos when a hallucination inducing neurotoxin can no longer be contained. To break free, you must navigate through complete darkness, wander through psychedelic sights and sounds, journey through mystical forests, and confront the most sinister creatures and ghouls!"
