Super Bowl Sunday in Scottsdale

Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest annual sporting event in the United States. It is fun to watch, even if you aren't normally interested in football! This year, Super Bowl LVII will take place in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12th. That's right around the corner from Scottsdale! As a result, the whole area is getting into the spirit of the game. Here's how you can enjoy the Super Bowl festivities in Scottsdale! 

Talking Stick Resort 

Talking Stick Resort will host Superzona in honor of this year's Super Bowl. The celebration will kick off on February 9th with a performance by Steve Aoki- a visionary with nearly 3 billion music streams to his name. This huge party is not to be missed!

On February 10th, the resort will host Shaq's Fun House. This event is marketed as "Part Music Festival, Part Carnival." Sounds like a blast! Describing his event, Shaq wrote - “Phoenix – I am back to win another Big Game Weekend championship! Part festival, part carnival, I recruited my boys Diplo &  Snoop Dogg to perform, and I will be building a massive carnival experience. Get ready for the most over-the-top party and celebrity-filled event ever!” 

On February 11th, the party continues with Gronk Beach. Gronk Beach is NFL Legend and 4X Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski’s personally curated music festival, which aims to bring his over the top personality to life. This year, the party will feature 21 Savage, Diplo, Lil Jon, and more. 

February 11th will also be the date of the Sports Illustrated Party. This is Super Bowl weekend's most exclusive event. It will feature performances by The Chainsmokers, Machine Gun Kelly, Chantel Jeffries, and IRIE.

W Scottsdale Hotel

W Scottsdale Hotel will also host Super Weekend- an assortment of festivities during the Super Bowl Weekend. On February 8th, the party will kick off with Suits and Sneakers. This fashion show event invites guests to celebrate tailored suits and the latest in sneaker culture with celebrity athletes from the NFL, MLB, and NHL modeling on the runway. FOX Sports’ personality and NFL reporter Jay Glazer will host and emcee the event. There will also be an exclusive performance by rapper Rick Ross! 

On February 9th, G-Eazy will perform live at W Scottsdale’s Cottontail Lounge. On February 10th, Cardi B will perform! Talk about a pair of amazing shows! Then, February 11th will see the annual Playboy Party, with a special musical guest TBA. During this exclusive event, guests will enjoy drinks and refreshments along with big-name musical guests and DJs. 

Finally, on Super Bowl SundayW Scottsdale will host the Skybox Sunday Viewing Party. Guests are invited to come enjoy cocktails and watch the game on a giant LED screen, with additional screens poolside at the hotel’s electric WET Deck.

Historic Old Town ESPN Main Street Tailgate 

Looking for a free, fun event? Join in the festivities at the Historic Old Town ESPN Main Street Tailgate. This five-day, Old West-style football pre-game party will take place right in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale and will serve as the backdrop for much of ESPN’s pre-game coverage of Super Bowl LVII, including NFL Live and Sunday NFL Countdown. From February 8th-12th, you can come play life-sized games while enjoying live music, entertainers, a western bar, giveaways and food-for-purchase offerings from Cien Agaves, Yellow Spruce Roasters, Belle’s Nashville Kitchen, Val’s Frybread and Piccolo Virtu.
